WHY I AM RUNNING
I'm filing for the House of Representatives to improve the quality of life in all neighborhoods by directly addressing concerns from community safety and job training; dealing with the assault on public education; being transparent and communicate to the citizens (young and old) about legislative bills, amendments, budgets and resolutions affecting our state.
Because of the economic growth and the Route 9 corridor, the citizens must be communicated on housing, commercial and industrial growth and how the process evolves from start to finish.
I pledge to be open, transparent and to fight for the people I represent - and do it with a sense of urgency everyday, every week and every month. Have a collaborative style, not just with the House of Representatives, but with everybody, public and private.
The 16th District has a high cancer rate due to air quality from industrial and commercial businesses.
Ensure effective community policing, expanding foot patrols in key neighborhoods. Transparency in investigations.
Damage is done to our rivers, ponds, aqua fills and trees due to chemicals.
Conditions of released bonds and financial terms. Maintain the integrity of the judicial process.
Pre-apprenticeships and apprenticeships help lessen high unemployment and underemployment.
Create new home ownership opportunities and affordable rental housing working with DHA and non-profits.
Stopping school monopolies and creating the incentive to reform. Use tax credits to allow students to choose between public and private schools.
PORT OF WILMINGTON
Construction and environmental permits are passed with urgency - compliant with the Coastal Zone Act.
